HP Omen Laptop - 17-cb1006nq WIN key not working

All of a sudden WIN key stopped working on my laptop.

Tested the key with SW it is the only one not sending anything. On screen KB works just fine.

Tried 5-6 different solutions on the internet or HP support forums, nothing helps.

Restarted laptop, Latest Drivers installed, Game mode off, reinstalled Omen gaming hub, key filter is off, registry does not have a 

"HKLM:\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout" -name "Scancode Map"

 Its a brand new laptop... it is strange that HW gave up on WIN key particularly.... What to do?

After almost measuring everything with a multimeter ......... Win lock button!!!!! was activated. Presed FN+ F12 and win key is working again.

What an obscure feature... caused a ton of headaches, hope this helps someone in the future.
