HP Omen Laptop Dead - Only power light flashing slowly (Update)

Hi,

OLD MESSAGE FROM 2021: 

I’ve had my laptop for about 3 years now with no problems. Upgraded a few things in the past and it’s been running really well. I use it for design work so I am using Adobe programs and sometimes for gaming. 

The issue suddenly happened this morning. I press the power button and the laptop makes no noise at all and nothing Is happening whatsoever apart from the LED on the power button is blinking orange for 5 seconds and then off for 3 seconds and will just carry on until I hold it down for 5 seconds or so to stop it. 

I’ve tried all the things to get it working again like taking the battery out and trying to start it with just the charger and also trying to start it with just the battery. I have tried a hard reset aswell. Nothing is working, it just does the same thing with the LED blinking 5 seconds on and 3 seconds off.

UPDATE TODAY:

My laptop had been with a computer repair shop for a few months and they could not repair it apparently they couldn't get a part they needed? So the exact same problem is happening with it: Completely dead apart from the power light flashing 5 seconds on and about 3 seconds off when it's plugged in.

I just can't leave it sitting there knowing that I spent over £1400 for it brand new and it died for no reason after I always took care of it and there was nothing wrong with it. I even have an Alienware laptop that I've had for about 12 years and it still works (although obviously a bit slow now).

My opinion is it's the motherboard....Please if I can send it to an official HP place to get it fixed can someone please let me know how and where?
