HP Laptop by Omen Model 15t-dc000
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was simply watching a youtube video when my laptop shut off completely.

There was no overheating, I checked the temperature and it was around 60C on the GPU and CPU, and well I was watching a youtube video.

The laptop wouldn't turn on again.

I tried:
Almost everything HP suggests to get a PC to start up

Holding the power button
Removing devices
Changing wall adapters (battery appears to be charged), so I conclude charger works
Leaving it to sit for a day
The computer still won't turn on. No fans, no screen, no anything except for a blinking light.

I did not try:
Disconnecting battery from board, the battery is internal and I don't want screw around with this laptop

The power button and the charge light blink in a certain cycle, about 5 seconds on and 1 second off
I read the forums and that suggests something is wrong with the system board (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01732674
I think this computer needs something to be done with the board. What should I do? Is there anything I can solve by own?
I'm heading to a PC repair shop to run some diagnostics and possibly see what someone has to say about it.
