Hello! I purchased this HP Omen laptop and am having tech issues. I have tried to contact HP support but the serial number (on the bottom of the laptop and when looked up in Windows 11) is incorrect and is telling me that it is a 2013 HP Pavilion laptop. On top of that the HP diagnostic serial number lookup function on the website is telling me it cannot detect the serial number. There isn't a way as far as I can tell to contact HP without the serial number, and the one from 2013 is obviously out of warranty. This is very frustrating and I'd appreciate HP support helping me to correct or find out the right number so I can get proper support. Thank you.
*Figured it out--for some reason me typing the serial number into support directly defaults to the older out of warranty computer, but looking it up outside of the support section and *then* entering the product number works. No idea why this is the case, but okay, in case anyone else has this issue in the future heads up.
