Did you manage to resolve your issue? I have the same problem on me en00002ax, the only thing that works for me is disabling turbo boost on my CPU. If I turn it back on I eventually face the same issues. Never buying an HP Laptop again.

Nope, haven’t resolved it. I’ve tried everything I could think of and haven’t been able to get any answers.

Hello @rockwellc

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Short circuit test

- General cleaning ...

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.

Just disable the CPU turbo boost. It'll most likely fix your issues and make your laptop usable again.

Here's a guide if you don't know how to..

This is not a solution for a gaming notebook ! The technical problem must be solved, see my previous post.

Thermal paste and cleaning on a barely year old laptop? Issues started happpening before the year warranty was even up. Not so sure about that.

Hello @rockwellc

High temperatures in the long term dry out the thermal paste and it loses its function!
