For model 17-w033dx there was a BIOS update psted on January 9, 2017 version F.26 Rev A. There has been an increase from 1.5gbs to 1.9gbs which is closer to what it should be. Thi is reporting that the OCZ is operating at 8.0 link speed, so i assume this has been corrected. However, the other issues I have had since the original BIOS still exists.
NVidia 965M ..
PCIe 3.0
Max Width 16x, Current 8x
Max Speed 8.0 GT/s
Current Speed 2.5 GT/s
Unsure if thats normal or not.
Edit: Values are the same in original BIOS F.05 Rev A. Unsure if/how they relate to issues.

No problem, that number was from the SSD Utility software. Im not sure how to get get proper test using CrystalDiskMark program but I am assuming that through the top most test using a 2GB file, that I had over 1GB increase in speed. Using the original bios i have around 1600Mbs, but using the new bios it tested over 2600Mbs. But, new BIOS = game lag.
