Product: OMEN X by HP - 17-ap010nr
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Omen X 17 Laptop (model 17-ap010nr) is presenting an  "A" Key randomically unresponsive. I have found a thread with this very same problem (and for the same key).

 

I have disassembled and thoroughly cleaned underneath the key with compressed air, isopropil alcohol and nothing has changed. So far, it fails 70% of the time, so on average I have to click between 2 and 4 times to extract an "a".

 

I have checked prices and a new keyboard costs USD350, so it is not an option as the laptop is almost 5 years-old. I have also reinstalled the keyboard driver from the HP support page.

 

Any additional advice?
