HP Omen battery issue

HP Recommended
HP Omen 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
My laptop battery had died due to the overheating problem with the HP Omen. Warranty has expired, and recently the battery has swelled and forced the keyboard out. Is it safe to use, and can I remove the battery or do a replacement?

Yes its safe to remove the battery and I would advise it.

What is your model (product number) of your laptop?

Press Control/Alt/S for the information menu in windows
Or
Go to the Start menu and scroll to H/HP Help and Support/HP Support Assistant.
Open the program and click on your computer in the list.
The Product Number will be listed there.

Yes the battery missing wont have a power backup if the power went out. But I still ask what the model number is to reference the correct Manual.
