HP Omen dc1057
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I took my laptop apart to fix the fan exhaust grill and in the process removed the battery. When I removed the battery, I accidentally tore one of the ribbon cables which I believe controls the backlight of the keyboard. But when I reinstalled everything and booted up the laptop, the screen would not turn on. I tried plugging in to an external display and still got no signal. I also tried replacing the ram, hard resetting, pretty much everything the internet recommended besides removing the CMOS. I don't know for sure if the backlight cable is causing this problem or if it's something else since the LCD display cable is untouched.
