OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 (2L1F2AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

My HP Omen 15 laptop is brand new and it has only been 2 weeks or less since I purchased it.

It continues to crash and automatically restart every time it goes idle and gives the error message in Event Viewer: The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000003b, along with some hexadecimal messages.

I have tried reinstalling Windows using the HP Cloud Recovery tool so many times but still, this same issue starts to happen from the 3rd or 4th day of installation. Otherwise, everything works fine for the first day or two.

But after that, the laptop crashes and restarts on its own along with this error message that I wrote above.

Please help me fix this issue as I am very concerned about this problem. The laptop costs a lot and BSOD or crashes are the last things that I wanted to see on my laptop, or rather I never wanted to see them.

Please note: I have never done a completely fresh Windows 11 installation. I always installed it from the HP Cloud Recovery tool after installing it on my USB drive.

Thank you.

@RayoViBE,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing crashing and restarting issues with the OMEN 15.6 Inch Gaming Laptop PC.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine whether the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
