Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I tried using my laptop again after 2 weeks of it sitting and the charger would not work. I noticed the orange light next the ac adapter will light orange for about a second then turn off. So I went ahead and bought another charger from the HP parts store using the part number on the original charger that says "Use HP spare part number: 917649-850". So I did, and it's doing the same thing.

Try to charge the laptop for some time and then try turning it on.

 

Try to follow the steps suggested in this support document for - HP PCs - No Power or No Boot Guided Troubleshooter

 

I would suggest you follow the steps suggested in the support document for - HP Desktop PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10, 😎
