Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
  • When was the last time it worked fine?
  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824

Keep me posted for further assistance.

So I found the issue.. took the bottom off and checked the wifi card, made sure the wires was connected and reset them (be gentle).. noticed a gash on the bottom of laptop.. which was right on top of the wifi card . and the wifi card had a dent in it.. so I have ordered a new wifi card for it which was only $20.. so when it arrives I will install and post updates on the situation
