OMEN Laptop - 15-en0023dx
Microsoft Windows 11

I have an HP Omen gaming laptop and Windows 11. When I downloaded Windows 11 somehow my secure boot became disabled and I have been unable to get it back. The secure boot option in my BIOS is grayed out. I would like to try to avoid a factory reset if at all possible. Any advice helps, I've tried everything I can think of.

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing issues with the HP Omen Laptop secure boot option is grayed out.

If you see Secure Boot or Secure Boot Configuration in your BIOS is grayed out try the following:

Step 1. Go into the BIOS and Load HP Factory Default Keys and see if Secure Boot becomes available.

Step 2. If it does not than go into the operating system and disable “Fast Boot” (Steps below).

Step 3. go back into your BIOS and try Load HP Factory Default Keys.

Step 4. enable Secure Boot at this point.

*** NOTE - Both Legacy Support and Fast Boot need to be disabled to Enable Secure Boot.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
