HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec0000nu with AMD Ryzen 3550H Graphic cards drivers not working properly

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone,

The problem is with AMD and nVIDIA processor/video drivers and I'm stuck with my brand new laptop HP Pavilion Gaming.

My best option is to download the drivers from HP which can keep the system stable w/o blue screens but don't work properly in certain programs - for example Cinema 4D.

If I download drivers from AMD and nVIDIA - programs work fine but the system is getting blue screens and is not stable. It can be something that involves the driver for the nVIDIA GTX card as well since the laptop has two video cards.

Hardware is tested and as far as i know everything is working properly just doesn't have good enough drivers and who knows when they will be available.

Thanks for your time.

@Rasla

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, perform Windows Update and HP Support Assistant: (do not skip any troubleshooting steps if you feel steps are repeating)

To check for updates now, select the Start button, and then go to Settings  > Update & security  > Windows Update, and select Check for updates.

Install updates from HP Support Assistant: Go to Download HP Support Assistant to install the tool.

  1. To open HP Support Assistant, double-click the HP Support Assistant icon https://support.hp.com/doc-images/932/c05040382.jpg.
  2. Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
  3. Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
  4. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
  5. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
  6. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Thanks Echo_Lake but I did all of this multiple times + reinstalled windows twice + tested the hardware with hp tools, windows tools and mem test.

Everything is  up to date and working "properly" according to these programs.

Futhermore, I had a chat on messenger with HP - Social media tech support agent which seemed legit but now after the communication is over i see that this agent appear on messenger as "Facebook user" which looks quite strange.

So now I'm also worried who asked about the serial number of my pc as well. Nothing more sensitive as information though.

So this is it.

Thank you for the explanation. It is clear for me.

What should I do next ?  I called to the local support and they can only offer taking it to service wich will take around two weeks and I need this pc for work. I bought it for that reason and it's not an option to stay without it week or two or three.

Problems still presist.
