HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0044nq Laptop heats up to the point of restarting

HP Recommended
HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-ec0044nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The laptop (purchased a few months ago) heats up in roughly 30 min of gaming to the point where it restarts by itself. I am concerned for my CPU and GPU.

A few requests for the support team, if you can help with the following:

 - Can you help me diagnose this (the laptop is brand new, within warranty)?

 - Can you recommend temperature control software that would also allow me to increase fan speed to avoid frying my processing units?

 - I have purchased the Operating System, Antivirus and Office pack on it and am not very keen on exchanging the laptop for another, but I need to know for sure that my CPU and GPU are not in danger.

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer is overheating.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check whether the issue is resolved.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!
