As we now there no display port on some hp gaming laptops such as HP Pavilion Gaming 434L5EA (why havent put in I don't know!!) But there is HDMI 2 port, my question is if we connect a 144 hz supporting gaming monitor ( 4 exam) with hdmi cable to this laptop can we get the same frequincy in the monitor or the freq. Will be reduced to 120 hz?

@Adnan-Hamza

HDMI 2.0 ports with a right cable support up to 4K @ 60 Hz. As you know already: refresh rate goes up, resolution will go down and vice versa.

Now you can work this out for example with FHD monitors you should get 120Hz

Regards.
