Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is less than 9 months old.

The hinges have become disconnected from the screen. It appears that the screws no longer stay in their little holes in the plastic and they've all fallen out completely. As a result the screen is no longer able to stay up under it's own weight and I am very concerned that this will lead to further damage to the machine.

The laptop is only 9 months old and has never had any sort of incident. I can now see that this is a common issue with these machines as any cursory internet search will attest.

What is the suggested response to this ? Since this is clearly NOT because of my mis-handling of the laptop.

As I've had this for less than a year I assume that I'm still covered by the warranty.
