Hi @ItadoriYuji
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
It sounds like your HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop PC 15-ec2000 is powering on but not displaying anything, which could indicate a display issue, a hardware failure, or a BIOS problem.
Here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect all external devices.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the power adapter and turn on the laptop.
Step 2: Connect an External Monitor
- If the screen remains black, try connecting an external monitor via HDMI or DisplayPort.
- If the external display works, the issue may be with the internal screen or display drivers.
Step 3: Recover the BIOS
- Turn off the laptop.
- Press and hold the Windows + B keys, then press the power button.
- Wait for the BIOS recovery process to start.
Step 4: Boot into Safe Mode
- Restart the laptop and press Shift + F8 repeatedly.
- Select Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > Startup Settings.
- Choose Safe Mode and check if the display works.
