15-cx0001na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My son's HP Gaming Laptop turned itself off and now won't restart at all. No Power, nothing. It's only one month old. It's a 15-cx0001na model.

Hello Fiestaman87!

I'm not an HP employe, but I'll suggest some possible errors.

Check the battery

Make sure that the battery on the computer is correctly put in. If you have not touched the battery at all, try to unplug the battery and put it back in. The battery is often located on the underside of the computer and is easy to remove.

Check the power supply

Check so that the power output is working correctly. Without a working power output, the computer charger won't work which will result in an empty battery. If you have another laptop at home with the same charger, try putting your son's charger into that computer and check if it works.

Last but not least

Is there anything that lights up on the computer? Any LED when you hold the power button, or is it just 100% dead?

Nope, it's still completely dead.

Same thing happened to mine really upset because it’s only 2 months old, such a bust

If your laptop is only a couple months old, its still under warranty.
