HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2015nq
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello fellow HP users!

I recently received the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2015nq and would like to ask about upgrading storage and RAM

It currently has :

8 GB DDR4-3200 MHz RAM (2 x 4 GB)

256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD

I am hoping to go for 16GB of RAM

(is the laptop capable of handling 32GB? I think it said somewhere that 16GB is the max)

and 1TB of SSD

(or add a second SSD if possible?)

Can you please let me know is any DDR4 laptop RAM, running at 3200MHz compatible with this laptop? What about the different SSDs?

Help will be much appreciated, thank you!

Thank you Banhien!

I was worried because the vendor that sold me the ec2015nq HP laptop told me that it comes with 2x4GB RAM and that the max capacity of RAM for the model is 16GB.

It is good to know that I can go for 32GB!

Also, about the parts for 2.5" SSD - Should I expect to find them in the laptop if i take it apart or? It seems some people have them included with the fake 2.5" blank box that sits inside the laptop.
