HP Victus lag and stuttering
Hi everyone, I recently bought a gaming PC configured (HP Victus 15L).
The specs are:
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600G processor
- 16GB DDR4-3200Mhz RAM
- 500GB SSD
- Nvidia RTX 4060 8GB GPU
- LG 144hz monitor
- PSU 350W
I'm having issues with Overwatch and Fortnite.
Overwatch is playable, it maintains 120-144hz but there are moments of extreme stuttering. They last a few seconds, and I get one per game more or less. GPU collapse from 50-70% to 10%. No overheating.
Fortnite is practically unplayable. It doesn't maintain fps, it's a continuous up and down from 120 to 20.
The graphics settings for both games are at minimum.
The drivers are all up to date and I have no programs running in the background.
The GPU doesn't go above 60 celsius, with a usage of 50-60%.
The CPU sometimes reaches 70 degrees celsius, and reaches peaks of 70-80% usage (only in Fortnite reaches 100% sometimes).
I can't understand the reason for such slowdowns. I followed some guides, small improvements on the Nvidia control panel and Windows settings, but nothing changes.
I thought it was a CPU bottleneck problem or low power supply, but it's a computer configured by HP, I hope they did the calculations before selling it.
Can you help me?
Thanks
