Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d0000 (2V8U8AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I am using this laptop for five days and I realized the battery lasts like 1h or so. I used the HP tools for battery health diagnosis and it says everything is OK.

I also updated all drivers and OS to most recent updates and checked all battery saving  options are activated:

I have read somewhere the battery from this laptop usually last like 5 hours if you are using it for browsing.

Can it be damaged although the diagnosis says it is OK? and what can I do?

Hi@gabrielito99,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I'd like to help!

I see you are experiencing Battery issues with the Victus By HP 16.1 Inch Gaming Laptop PC.

I have a few recommendations

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
  • For Testing and Calibrating the Battery please click this link

For any hardware issue or repair please click on the link Phone Assist Worldwide

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I had the similar issue with my Omen 16. So, you have to fully charge the battery and to update the BIOS. Try it, not sure whether it works or not.
