HP Victus 16 Laptop randomly stops Charging

My HP laptop randomly stops charging when i am using it while plugged in, getting up and switching the socket its plugged into off and turning it on again, makes the charging start again for sometime before stopping.

I recommend you to go to the support page and update the BIOS. These devices usually have an HP Adaptive Battery, this type of battery according to the user's habits can cut the battery charge to give it more life of use.

I will do that thanks for the advice, i recently stumbled upon an advice to disable adaptive battery feature in HP is that a possible solution too ?

yes, this function is usually in the BIOS, but you can also deactivate it by loading the device when it is powered off.
