Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-e0000 (2V9A1AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Yes, this model does have a problem of overheating. That is why the model was discontinued. Yet, that does not help customers who are stuck with this model. There should be settings that HP can advise customers which can lower the heat output. It's not a software issue, it is a hardware issue....a manufacturing issue.

Hi:

Did you try lowering the processor power state from max to 99% or 98%?

What is Minimum & Maximum Processor State in Windows? (windowsreport.com)

I know it isn't the best solution, but it is better than frying your notebook if the overheating problem is that bad.

Also, have you checked to see if the HP command center app is supported for your notebook?

You can install it from the Microsoft Store.

Hi. Thank you for reply.

After many workarounds, I finally had to just disable turbo boost in the Windows Power Plan advance settings. It saddens me because to run the laptop safely, I had to sacrifice performance. This subtracts from the laptop's value.
