Victus by HP 16.1 inch Gaming Laptop PC 16-d1 (53F53AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, my 16.1 Victus has recently developed an issue where it'll stop charging under high load. I'm using the 200W charger included with the laptop. I first noticed it playing BeamNG, the game would run at 144fps until I would first move and all the physics would kick in, dropping the frame rate to 30fps at best. The only way to get my laptop to charge again is to unplug the charger at the wall, plugging the adaptor back in the laptop does nothing until it has been unplugged from the powerpoint. Wondering if there's an issue where the adapter isn't supplying enough power to run the GPU and CPU at high load? Any help would be great.

Hi @jayden2002

It may be a problem of the battery, some batteries when they reach a high temperature usually around 40 ° C  (battery temperature, not laptop temperature) stop receiving charge, also when the FPS drop is caused by too much heat in the device, you should check the temperature.
