Chapter 1 of the maintenance and service guide (for the older model series) indicates the max memory is 2 x 8 GB.

OMEN 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop PC 15-en1000 (2L1F3AV) - Setup and User Guides | HP® Support

The Crucial memory report indicates your notebook can support up to 2 x 32 GB of memory.

You can also run this command to see what Windows indicates:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

Thanks a lot, Paul, for your comprehensive response to my quesiton.

I have just run the command you advised to, and the result is 32Gb maximum. So, I am wonderig if, according to Crucial memory report for my notebook, should I dare upgrading up to 64Gb or stick to 32Gb as the max VALUE the CMD indicates.

Again, thanks.

You're very welcome.

While I doubt that you would need to install 64 GB of memory, the Crucial memory report is almost always right, so 64 GB of memory would probably work.
