HP omen laptop power button shock

After my laptops battery got swollen i sent it to repair but there were no battery to replace so i got it back without the battery until replacement arrives.When i got the laptop back i cleaned the outside of it,keyboard with cologne.Now when i touch the power button it gives a shock a but the computer opened.After opening it had a black screen then gave me CMOS checksum error after that everything looked working fine.All i want to know will there be a problem using it?Will the shock damage it or start giving a bigger shock?

Cologne is not normally something to be used to clean a computer.
