Recently replaced the keyboard on the notebook. I booted up the laptop to perform tests on the new keyboard, when the the notebook suddenly shut down. Several attempts to boot the device were made following the support guides on the HP website. When replacing the keyboard, swelling of the battery was noted and replacement is pending. As seen in the attached photo the area circled was extremely hot when the AC adapter was connected during the attempts to boot up the notebook.

I undrestand that the HP omen notebook will not boot up.

 

In that case, I would suggets you conatct our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

 

Or you can conatct local service center for repair.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

 

 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

 

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
