Hi @DineshDk06,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for contacting HP Support and sharing your concerns regarding your HP Victus 16 (Ryzen 7, RTX 3050). We understand how important your notebook is for your academic projects and day-to-day work, and we regret the inconvenience you are experiencing.
Please allow us to provide clarity on the matter:
Warranty and Repairs
- If a device is within its warranty period and a hardware defect is confirmed, HP provides repair or replacement of the affected part at no cost. In certain cases, full unit replacement may be carried out as per the warranty policy.
- Since your device warranty has expired, any required repair would generally be chargeable.
Feedback Forwarded
- We have documented your case and will forward the feedback to our relevant product and quality teams for their review. Should there be any updates or information to share, you will be notified via email or through proper HP communication channels.
Recommended Steps You May Try
- Ensure your BIOS and drivers are updated using the HP Support Assistant. Firmware updates sometimes help in stabilizing sensor-related behavior.
- Perform a full power reset: shut down the notebook, disconnect the adapter, and press and hold the power button for 20–30 seconds before restarting.
- If the blinking occurs under specific workloads (e.g., ML model training), keeping a note of the activity and time will be useful for service technicians during diagnosis.
Service Option
- We recommend visiting an authorized HP Service Center, where our technicians can run diagnostics and guide you with the best available repair options.
At HP, customer trust and satisfaction are of utmost importance. While repairs outside the warranty period may be chargeable, please be assured that your feedback has been shared with the appropriate teams and will be taken into consideration.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
