Hallo. I own an HP Pavilion - 15-bc405nv (product number 5CS99EA). I would like to ask two questions.
1) Can i replace the existing ssd with an M.2 PCIe NVMe ssd? Or SATA 3 interface ssd is my only option? and
2) can i upgrade ram to 16 GB with a kit of 2 modules (2X8 GB) 2666MHz CL15,260-pin SO-DIMM, PC4-21300 ,DDR4 ?
Thank you.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06325755
Chapter 1, pages 4 & 5 have the memory and drive info.
In my unofficial opinion, I don't believe either specification is correct.
Your notebook has two memory slots and can support at least 2 x 8 GB of memory.
In the manual, it indicates the M.2 slot supports Intel Optane memory.
Intel Optane memory is NVMe, so if the slot supports Optane, then it would also support a standard NVMe storage SSD,
Also the Crucial memory/SSD report for your notebook indicates that NVMe drives are supported and as much as 2 x 16 GB of memory.

That makes sense to me.
