My notebook has worked perfectly the last year or so. No crashes, errors, nothing. Then, I start up my notebook today, to which I'm greeted with a black screen saying my hard drive has an imminent failure (F2 for diagnostics and ENTER for normal startup). I go to diagnostics, run the hard drive test. At this point, I am not sure what to do. I am sad this error occurred out of nowhere, and I have no clue as to how to fix the issue . Please help in recovering my data from hard drive?

Now you can't access HDD using its computer. Hope the is no mechanical damages. You have to access HDD using different computer.
(a) Remove HDD from faulty machine and connect it to USB-SATA adapter OR an enclosure such as:
https://www.msy.com.au/25-hdd-enclosure
(b) Now, connect it to a different computer and use it as an external USB drive.
Regards.

Thanks Banhein,
I applied the test on a different computer. However, I can still not recover data.
The USB-SATA adapter starts loading the data from the HDD and I can view new hard drive icons showing on my computer.
However after 30 mins, the computer stops responding and I cannot do any thing further.
Please guide me if there is a way to send you the hard drive to recover data and the possible costs?
