Hard to close

Since yesterday it was really hard to close my laptop, all I heard was crashing thing, and today the plastic that is holding the monitor and keyboard on the one side is opened..
How?Why? how can I fix it????

Also I need to mention, that I did nothing to my laptop, it didnt crashed or fell off.
