All depends on how you classify "normal". Seems to be rather normal for these Omens to run that hot. That is to say, many have reported the same temps while gaming. Personally, Im not comfortable with them running that hot.
You can experiment with tools like Intels XTU or Throttlestop to undervolt the cpu and bring the temps down a little. But there really isnt much else you can do to change the cpu temps otherwise.
If you're still having difficulties with it, you can always contact HP Support directly. They might have you send it in for repasting. But that will be about all they will do for you.
Sorry I don't have a magical fix for it, Im just speaking on what I have seen here time after time.
