It has two RAM slots, but I don't know, that it can handle 16 GB RAM each, or not

That's why I wrote it probably can.
I don't know why HP doesn't put the absolute max in their specs.
Many folks on this forum have installed 2 x 16 GB in their HP notebooks with 8th gen processors that have two memory slots.
I have an old HP 6910p notebook where HP stated the max memory was 2 x 2 GB.
I knew the Intel chipset could support 2 x 4 GB of memory.
I am running 2 x 4 GB in there with no problems whatsoever.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook's model series.

The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.
HP's specs state 2 x 8 GB is the max, but you should be able to install 2 x 16 GB in a PC with an Intel 8th gen processor.

Yes.
As I wrote...it works with no problems whatsoever.
What I would do if I were you...
Buy one 16 GB chip and add it to the existing one.
if it works, remove the other chip and add the 2nd 16 GB chip.
Personally, I don't see why 2 x 16 GB wouldn't work, but take it one chip at a time if you want.
