 does anyone know if the holes on top of the keyboard are waterproof are not? I know they are just there for decoration but is it permeable and could causes water to seep through?

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

 

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, To get the answer to this question, the speaker grill are not waterproof and purpose is to protect the speaker internals.
And also to produce richer sound quality allowing the sound to clearly pass.
