My Support Assistant is telling me that I need to replace my primary battery (my laptop has no secondary battery), but when I look for a replacement part, I see two batteries listings. The first reads "741976-001 Part is not orderable in the HP Parts Store. Real Time Clock (RTC) Battery (Not the Regular Lithium Battery) RoHS: COMPLY_2.05." The second one states, "858968-001 In stock CABLE, BATTERY RoHS: COMPLY_2.06."
I'm guessing that the one I need is the former. So, how long do I have before my primary battery becomes unusable? What is your estimate on that?
