Hi All,
I currently own this laptop - https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06401026
I have been looking for a new 144hz monitor, but I am understanding that only certain versions of HDMI can successfully run this frame rate. When I look at that spec in the link above, it just says "1 HDMI" but does not provide the spec (1.3, 1.4, 2.0, etc.). Is there a way to figure this out?
Thanks in advance!

As you know the rule: increasing refresh rate will reduce resolution. Most likely you will get 1920 x 1080 @ 120Hz.

From manual of the series, it has
High-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) 2.0 connector
Which supports UHD monitors @ 60Hz
