Hi i recently got a HP Victus gaming laptop. I use this laptop in one place and dont really move it anywhere so i keep it on charger all time. Is there any way to disable battery so it just runs on AC Power itself when it reaches 100%, and stop charging battery and doesnt damage the battery.
Thank you.

Hi:
The battery does stop charging when it reaches 100% charge, but the problem is you should not leave the notebook plugged in 24/7/365 with the battery in a constant 100% charge state or that may lead to battery swelling.
I recommend when you are finished using the notebook for the day, unplug it from A/C power so the battery discharges while maintaining the BIOS and system clock settings.
