Hi guys, as the title says I'd like to know if it is possible to stop completely the fan on idle.

When I'm in class and start the computer I can clearly hear the fan. It isn't very loud or anything, but  considering my CPU hovers around the 35-40 Celsius I think it could be off without any problem.

I think I got it to completely turn off  some time ago, but now even with "Fan Always On" option disabled on the BIOS I can't get it to fully stop.

I'd be grateful if any of you knows if there is something more to it, maybe I should clean the fans, but I've had this for a year and it doesn't look much dirty to be honest.

@Valenciano118 , welcome to the forum.

I am not aware of any setting in the BIOS that will allow for the fan of a laptop stop completely.  The space inside of a laptop case simply is not large enough to allow for good airflow without the fan.  Stopping it would be a dangerous situation.
