So VRAM is calculated by how much availible rRAM you have right? I have 16gb Of DDR4 RAM and even if I open up 3 Adobe apps the VRAM only increases to .4gb at MAX!

And I have set the graphics and set the cpu to run better so I can get more FPS in games, but 1/10 times my fps doubles and some games detect ALL VRAM and my system never resorts to using the DDR4 RAM as VRAM and if the Intel UHD 620 Graphics has 8gb of VRAM why don't they allow you to use it all? I know that airflow isn't optimal and overheating but other than that I don't see why my game doesn't detect more VRAM and why my system doesn't use more VRAM.

The specs of your machine is, it only has Integrated Intel® UHD Graphics 620  (iGPU)

Integrated video (iGPU) does not have room for keep VRAM, it relies on System. System will work this out and allocate/assign spare/available system RAM to VRAM automatically when required up to max limit. System will also take VRAM back when required. During the good old days, we could do this from BIOS but now OS is smarter.

The following document shows Max shared RAM for Intel iGPU versions
