I had been running some benchmarks on my laptop while looking for solutions to its battery issues when I noticed this. The laptop does not go beyond 2.3 GHz no matter what task it performs. It also randomly stops charging and does not charge again until the battery is fully drained(which was the main issue I was trying to solve). I have so far tried:
Going into the BIOS by pressing f10 to see if there is any "disable/enable turbo boost" option but I did not find any such option.
Running the benchmarks again with the laptop plugged in, to no avail.
