Hi,
I have bought a new m2 ssd with a greater capcity than the 128gb I have now.
I would like to know if it is worth to clone the m2 ssd drive, although I do not know how, or a fresh instalation, creating a booteable usb stick.
thanks for the help in advance!

My personal preference is to clean install rather than cloning.
Yes, you can use the Microsoft ISO from the Media Creation Tool to install with.
Or you can also burn the HP Recovery Media to a USB stick from the original SSD and use it to clean install to the bigger SSD.
Its a good idea to make a recovery media stick anyways.
Or you can try your luck with cloning. Its up to you.
Just my opinion.
Let me know if you have other questions.

Is it true that I can only create a recovery media on a usb once?
i would love to keep all the omen gaming good stuff, lile the hp cooling sense, wallpaper, etc...but I do not really want to “kidnapp” a usb dribve with the recovery media content forever...
thanks!!

Yes, but once its create, can be used over and over if needed.

I dont understand your question. The recovery will make a copy of how the system was at the time of purchase with all the softwear installed with it. Thats how it works.

Oh OK. Ya HP only lets you create one drive. Otherwise you would have to buy another one from them.
Or bypass that and use the plain ISO from Microsoft directly. Create media Windows 10
The Min size for an HP recovery is a 16 GB pen drive.
or
You only need an 8 GB for the ISO from Microsoft directly.
