Hp Omen 17x, screen goes black while gaming for 5 minutes.

Whenever i play high end game like GTA-V or Metro Exodus etc on charger plugged in for more than 5 minutes, screen goes black and everything freezes and i have to do shutdown it by pressing power button for long.

while on battery mode it never happens.

cpu temp on charging varies from 75-95C and on battery 60-70C.

I have resetted, updated everything required. 

Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to HP support community.

Disable the automatic restart option to view error messages

1. In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.

2. Click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section.

3. Remove the check mark next to Automatically restart, and then click OK.

   

Update the BIOS

1. In Windows, search for and open HP Support Assistant.

2. On the HP Support Assistant main page, click the Updates button in the My PC box.

   

3. Click Check for updates and messages.

   HP Support Assistant connects to the HP servers, collects your system information, downloads updates, and displays the results.

   

4. If HP Support Assistant finds a BIOS update, click the Install now icon  to update your BIOS.

nope, it didnt work.

updated the windows to latest, updated bios already some days ago.

its still showing black screen while gaming.

also ran system diagnostics but all tests passed

how much time is expected to get a reply?
Microsoft and Nvidia tried their best the moment i contacted them, now they both referring to contact manufactures.

its weird,  believe me.

Use a 150W adapter to fix this issue.

Here is the part number for 150W adapter 776620-001.
