@sauv0, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

The HP Advanced BIOS functions may not be available on all devices, as they are locked on most models and only accessible on select ones. However, you can try the steps below to see if any options are available on your device.

  • Access the Startup Menu: Press "Esc" repeatedly during boot.

  • Enter BIOS: Once in the Startup Menu, press "F10".

  • Check for hidden options: Explore the BIOS menus carefully to find advanced settings that may be initially hidden.

  • Password prompt: If your BIOS has a password set from your end to access advanced settings, you can try and check.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

Hey @sauv0,

Thank you for your response

I totally understand your efforts — and I appreciate you trying all those key combos.

If you find the Advanced settings tab missing in the BIOS, that is because HP has locked the settings on your computer as the improper use of the Advanced settings in BIOS could damage your computer, and in most cases there is no way to unlock it.

I hope this helps.
