My HP Victus 15 does not charge. I was using it a few days ago and despite it charging normally, it just stopped charging. I spent a few days since, having gotten 2 new chargers under the assumption that that was the problem. I opened it up and nothing looked problematic. Now, when i plug it in and attempt to boot, the LED where the charging port is blinks white 3 times. After a short while, it stops. I do not know what the issue is.

@linksmash, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand how frustrating it can be when your HP Victus 15 suddenly stops charging, especially after trying multiple chargers. Let's walk through some steps to help identify and resolve the issue.
You mentioned:
- The laptop was charging fine until recently.
- You've tried two new chargers.
- The charging LED blinks white 3 times when plugged in, then stops.
- The laptop doesn't boot.
The 3 white blinks typically indicate a battery or power-related hardware issue.
Step-by-Step Troubleshooting
Perform a Hard Reset
This helps clear residual electrical charge that might be causing the issue:
- Disconnect the charger.
- Hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the charger and try powering on.
Check the AC Adapter and Charging Port
- Ensure the charger is HP-certified and matches the original wattage.
- Inspect the charging port for dust, damage, or looseness.
- Try a different wall outlet.

Run HP Battery Check (if you can boot into BIOS or Windows)
If the laptop powers on:
- Install and run HP Support Assistant. HP Support Assistant | HP® Support
- Use the Battery Check tool to test battery health.
BIOS LED Blink Codes
The 3 white blinks may indicate a battery failure or not detected. If the system doesn't boot at all, try:
- Removing the battery (if removable) and powering on with just the adapter.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, we suggest you please visit the nearest HP authorized service center, the service team will check and assist you.
