Power pavilion 15t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My screen is stuck at HP Bios Update. It is at 56%. The laptop it self will not power off. I have tried holding the power button at several intervals from 5 seconds to 10 to 30 and even up to a minute. The computer will not power off and it is stuck at the HP Bios update screen.

@karlalexaz , welcome back to the forum.

Here is a guide to help you recover the BIOS.

If the computer is not plugged into a wall socket you should do so.  This may allow you to turn it off.  It has to be off to use the guide that I provided.
