Hi @Flowerlover1,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • Whether you see any lights (on the power button, keyboard, or charging port) when you press the power button or connect the charger.
  • If you’ve recently noticed unusual behavior before it stopped turning on (like overheating, battery draining quickly, or unexpected shutdowns).

 Troubleshooting Steps to Try

  1. Check the power adapter and cable
    • Ensure the charger is firmly connected to both the laptop and the wall outlet.
    • Try a different wall socket or, if available, another compatible HP charger.
  2. Perform a hard reset
    • Disconnect the charger
    • Hold down the power button for 15–20 seconds to discharge residual power.
    • Reconnect the charger, then try powering on again.
  3. Inspect for indicator lights
    • Look for any blinking lights near the charging port or keyboard. These can signal battery or hardware issues.
  4. External devices
  • Disconnect all USB devices, SD cards, or peripherals, then attempt to power on.

If none of these steps help, the issue may be related to the internal battery,  or motherboard.

I hope this helps.
