Hp omen 15 en0013dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello i recently bought a hp omen 15 en0013dx and was hoping my rift s vr would work with it. The rift s works perfectly fine with my gaming desktop but after installing and setting up the oculus software it tells you to plug in the usb and the display port (with using the mini dp adapter that came with my rift s) and both checked green and passed fine but after putting on the headset i get no picture and it pretty much just locks up my laptop and im forced to reboot. Is there something im missing? My omen has a 1660ti, ryzen 4800h, upgraded from 8 to 16gb 3200 ram. I know the specs are there and it passes the initial setup but not sure why its crashing. I was thinking maybe it has something to do with the auto gpu switching (which is the only thing i hate about this laptop cuz i bought it for the 1660ti not the crappy igpu and i dont like an auto feature such as this) im pretty sure the hdmi, usb-c, and the mini dp all connect to the 1660ti hence that it passed the setup. Any help would be appreciated. And i do know that some laptops are simply not compatible which is what im thinking is gonna be the endgame here.
