Hello, i have very recently bought an hp omen, and have noticed it is very hot. From the command center, i can see it runs at 80 degrees, even when i am not playing or doing anything special. What can i do?

At first it might sound too technical and overwhelming but youll yget a hang of it quite soon. Check out this tutorial for which I'll post the link below. Undervolting is basically an iterative process, you'll have to test out a lot of settings before you find the one that suites your machine. Oh and also you'll probs hit a lot of bsod messages but don't worry a quick reboot will fix it (note that you'll need to go back to the previous setting if you hit the bsod that's coz you undervolted your cpu too much)

Whenever i try to install coolsense, there is an error and it says ''there is a problem with this windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as intended.'' what can i do?

Ok so i managed to install coolsense and all the updates you mentionned. my temperature is between 60-70 on idle and  is still around 80-90 degrees? isnt that a bit too much? what is there to do to fix this?

Try undervolting youe cpu and also reduce the turbo a little. Helped me curb some temps
