Does your laptop battery charge only when the laptop is turned off? Click here to view the solution

Hp omen 15 ce003ns
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So my laptop decided to die on me and wont turn on.

Iv followed a few steps from this community as my problem seems to be a reoccurring issue on many HP notebooks.

When trying to turn on with cable and battery the LED flashes white once. But nothing else happens. If you unplug and plug in the cable it goes orange for 1 second and goes off.

So I followed some hard reset guides, take back cover off, remove battery and cable, hold power button for 30-60 seconds, plug it in and turn on.

Now this worked the first time but later In the day the laptop died and I haven't been able to turn it in since. I have done above steps countless times with no change, I have removed ram and swopped them around. Nothing seems to work.

It just does the side LED as stated above.

Does anyone have other ways you've found to solve this problem? I don't think this is a bad battery as it should be able to run on just the cable.

And theres no way of resetting bios while off.

Ideas?

Thanks.
